We've brought new interactivity to our Arc Academy courses! We've added quizzes that work both on a traditional browser or smartphone. This also changes how you move through the MIG Welding 101 course. Now, you will need to pass a quiz before moving forward to the next section of video lessons. You will receive instant feedback on whether you have passed or failed the quiz. Also, you will be sent an e-mail with your results.

Coffee tables are a fixture in almost every home and a nice one can really put a dent in the ol' pocketbook. You can learn in just under 2 hours how to make your own custom and modern coffee table for less that $300 in materials*. This is a course designed for beginners and hobbyists. We design all of our courses for those folks who are new to their shop environment. The course includes 21 video posts and is available to Arc Academy All-Access subscription members.

“Do it yourself” was a term that my Dad used all of the time. He is one of those guys that can fix or build just about anything. He picked up the phrase, now just DIY, in the 50's doing carpentry. My Dad, and the guys and gals out there like him, are what we call 'makers' today. 

I followed in my father's footsteps when I fell in love with metal fabrication in college. Fast forward to today, and I get to show my passion to our students at Arc Academy. If you've never built anything before...I"ve got five reasons you should.
